These townhomes were developed in an area where local residents opposed development and had sophisticated aesthetic tastes. The architect/planner team won support from neighbors with a sensitive design approach. Four duplex buildings arranged off a central driveway are constructed of wood siding and masonry to reflect the neighborhood style. A decorative brick wall along the adjacent arterial street encloses this 1+ acre site, providing noise mitigation and a sense of estate. Each of the eight townhomes offer 1,800 SF of living space with 3- bedrooms, 2-car garages, solar heated hot water systems, and private yards. MBA Architects completed this project in 1984.
