This 97-unit luxury motel is composed of three two-story buildings connected with bridges, decks, stair towers, and an elevator. Located adjacent to the Pruneyard Shopping Center, the site presented many challenges; it was long and narrow, between a freeway and a public waterway, and subject to easements from PG&E, SCV Water District, and Federal Flood Control. The adjacent freeway generated traffic noise which we mitigated with special construction techniques including double wall and ceiling construction, and use of heavy materials such as masonry and clay roof tile. The project incorporates the first freeway oriented sign allowed in Campbell. Site development includes tennis courts, two spas, and pool.

A variety of rooms were designed for travelers. Some have large jacuzzi tubs, 20 rooms have fireplaces, and several are executive suites. A managers unit is above the lobby; three meeting rooms are located next to the pool; a kitchen and dining area accommodate continental breakfast service; in-house laundry facilities are available to housekeeping staff. Mechanical systems throughout the hotel include air-conditioning, closed circuit TV, telephone, and plumbing.
