This project is a three-story, 64 unit apartment building of SRO units. Clover Studios is intended to serve transitory workers who will be employed in this area for under a year.

It has a hotel-like lobby, a generous space with a two-story lobby, elevator and open stair. The efficiency units are small, approximately 275 sf, but elegantly appointed. All units are fully handicapped adaptable. Each unit has a private bath and a custom fabricated built-in kitchen, desk, dresser and storage area. A separate linen closet is provided in addition to a clothing closet. Nine and ten foot ceilings were used throughout the building to permit high windows and a spacious atmosphere in these small spaces. A lounge area is located centrally on each floor, with outdoor patio areas or balcony adjacent. There is a central mail area and a laundry on each floor. The third floor is additionally equipped with a full sized and fully handicapped accessible kitchen. The plan layout is simple, with units both sides of a central corridor. The corridors are punctuated with arched opening and coved ceilings to add interest and individuality to each entry.

Clover Studios is a 24,000 sf building completed in 2000 at an estimated cost of $2.5 million. The Owner is a private developer.
