MBA Architects acted as a consultant to Urban Programmers in the preparation of a Conservation and Stabilization Report for the Wehrner Mansion.
This grandiose historic mansion and its ancillary garden cottages and cook's house were part of a working ranch where vineyards proliferated and wine was produced. The locale in the eastern foothills of San Jose is now part of The Villages, a private housing community.
The Conservation Report is the first step in the process of creating a rehabilitation plan. MBA Architects' work included documentation and environmental historic evaluation of the mansion and the adjacent winery/warehouse.
