This restaurant rehabilitation was the first phase of a three year project to restore the historic Danville Hotel which prominently occupies a full square block in downtown Danville.

The early California theme of the facade was carried out in the interior design, as shown here. The building was expanded, access to an inner courtyard was developed for dining, and kitchen equipment and all mechanical and electrical systems were updated. The second phase of renovation extended to second story offices, which were built-out for leasing.

This entire project required great architectural sensitivity to implement changes that met codes while retaining the historic quality of the structure. Restoration was completed for Danville Historic Properties Inc.
